NetCatering Hardware and Software Requirements
The base system requires two servers: one for the EventMaster PLUS! program and a NetCatering Web/database server. In a large implementation of NetCatering, a database server should be added to spread the load between the web and a database server. Please contact CBORD to determine if a database server is required for your implementation of NetCatering.
EventMaster PLUS! Server:- Dell PowerEdge 2650, Dual 2.4 GHz Xeon, 1 GB RAM, RAID 5, three 18 GB SCSI hard drives, 10/100 Ethernet adapter, Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, Monitor, CD-ROM.
NetCatering Web Server and Database Server:
- Dell PowerEdge 2650, single 2.4 GHz Xeon, 512 MB RAM, RAID 5, three 18 GB SCSI hard drives , 10/100 Ethernet adapter, Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, Monitor, CD-ROM.
NetCatering Database Server (Optional):
- Dell PowerEdge 2650, Dual 2.4 GHz Xeon, 1 GB RAM, RAID 5, three 18 GB SCSI hard drives, 10/100 Ethernet adapter, Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, Monitor, CD-ROM.
Third-Party Software (Required):
- Microsoft SQL Server2000 (appropriate processor license required).
Additional Equipment:
- 20/40 GB tape backup system, backup tapes and tape backup software.
- Smart UPS unit (one per server).
