CBORD announces CSD 2002 User Group Conference

Ithaca, New York—The CBORD Group, Inc., a leading supplier of housing management systems and campus-wide card systems, is pleased to announce the dates for it’s Communicating Systems Division’s annual User Group Conference, held at Cornell University May 7-10, 2002. User Group Conference (UGC) reflects the growing user base of CBORD Communicating Systems Division’s products.

The UGC was founded 23 years ago to act as a forum for users to share their experiences and thoughts on CBORD’s products with CBORD and other CBORD users. The core of the User Group conference is education. This year’s line-up features over 60 sessions focusing on maximizing your CBORD system, and a Technology Showcase, where clients can meet our partners, get hands-on with new technology and network with other users. Certification programs including a new certification for our 5th generation campus card product Odyssey PCS will be available as well. A new director/manager level track consisting of an intensive, two-day meeting concentrating on issues pertaining to upper level decision-making and management strategies will be held during the first two days of the conference. “We are building something very special here,” stated Bruce Lane, Vice President of Communicating Systems for CBORD, “We are the subcontractors to the construction of each of our client’s enterprises, at the same time we are designing and building our products and company. UGC gives CBORD a chance to interact with clients and learn from them. They are the reason why we have been so successful.”
