CBORD announces record first quarter results

November 27, 2001Ithaca, New York—The CBORD Group, Inc. a worldwide leader in campus-wide card systems today announced record results for it’s Communicating Systems Division first quarter sales (July-Sept 2001) with growth of 34% over the previous year’s first quarter results. Record sales were led by 9 new Odyssey PCS (Privilege Control System) campus card customer installations, including UPS corporate headquarters, Xavier University, and Dodge City Community College. 7 current customers are upgrading to the industry's newest campus card system as well. Among these clients are Johnson and Wales University, Indiana State University and the University of North Dakota.
CBORD now counts over 500 customers across North America as sites where its campus card systems are in place. CBORD estimates that over 1.2 billion transactions per year are processed through CBORD campus card systems. Odyssey PCS represents CBORD's 5th generation campus card system with an integrated housing management system component, providing a single database to manage both housing and campus card functions.
