CBORD Launches ecommerce.cbord.com™

Ithaca, New York—The CBORD Group, Inc., a worldwide provider of campus-wide card systems, is pleased to introduce ecommerce.cbord.com, a new product store for CBORD’s customers. Ecommerce.cbord.com gives all CBORD users the power to order their consumable supplies, such as ribbons, head cleaning cards, and MICROS Thermal paper from CBORD through the Internet. Users can now simply log-on to get information on the products they need, with an easy to use website and a flexible ordering option that takes purchase orders as well as credit cards.

“It’s about excellent customer service,” stated Bruce Lane, Vice President of the Communicating Systems Division. “Each of our clients has an assigned team member in the Client Development Group who can help them with consumable orders daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As everyone knows, sometimes customers have a need outside of these hours. Using e-commerce we are able to help the client procure product when they need it, and if they realize they need PVC cards at 10:00 PM on a Friday, they can go to ecommerce.cbord.com and place an order. We have also created a help menu in Odyssey PCS™ , our latest campus-wide card system, that connects the client directly to the website, so it’s convenient to order right from the desktop.”

Ecommerce.cbord.com also provides options for clients who don’t want to order through the Internet, such as an Adobe Acrobat® .PDF file of all available products which can be printed out and faxed to CBORD.
